Our Outreach. Our Affect. Our Story.
Paige Barrella created Stop Bullying Me as her Girl Scout Gold Award Project because she didn't want any victim of bullying to feel helpless or alone again. Having known victims of bullying her entire life, as well as facing her own share of bullying, Paige was inspired from hearing others' stories.
Since starting Stop Bullying Me, she has been contacted by many victims of bullying in support of her project. They have felt inspired by her, and some have even created their own projects to show others that they are not alone. Stop Bullying Me has almost 200 follower on Instagram, and is growing by the day. This past summer Paige returned to the Ronald Reagan Library's Student Leadership Program as an Ambassador. There she presented Stop Bullying Me to students from all across the globe, from California to Saudi Arabia. Paige considers Stop Bullying Me to be a success because as long as others are being educated and are aware of bullying, we may have a shot at creating a peaceful and happy world. Her next step is to open up Stop Bullying Me to a wider audience by having it's video series teach youths in schools and youth programs. |
